Club de Madrid launch of Development 57.1 'Shared societies' with Enrique Iglesias and Danilo Turk

A dialogue on the Post-2015 Development Agenda and Shared Societies -jointly organized by the Spanish State Secretariat of International Cooperation and the Club de Madrid, and hosted by Casa América- was convened (on January 20th) on the occasion of the launch of Development 57.1 'Shared Societies', a special issue of the SID quarterl jorunal produced in partnership with the Club de Madrid.

The event featured Club de Madrid member, Danilo Türk, former president of Slovenia, and Enrique Iglesias, former Secretary General of the Inter-American Development Bank and honorary member of the Club de Madrid.

Development 57.1 'Shared Soceities' - special issue produced in cooperation with the Club de Madrid - explores the concept of 'Shared Societies' developed by the Club de Madrid to inspire commitment to a notion of society where all individuals and constituent groups hold status as equally contributing participants, free to express their differences while integrating their voices within the broader population.
