Sixty organisations from 24 countries participated inthe Global Day of Action Against the International Monetary Fund (IMF)-World Bank Group (WBG) last October 15, during the recently concluded 2021 Annual Meetings.

Some of the barriers we have identified through our projects are (but not limited to): 
 
  • Lack of specific (or clarity in) policy, regulations, and technical standards. 
  • Lack of political goodwill and competing interests.
