January 18-February 5, 2010: 45th session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination of Violence against Women (CEDAW), Geneva, Palais des Nations, Salle XVI. To download the general documentation of the event, click here.

June 28, 2010: 16th Meeting of States parties. Election of the members of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women to replace those whose terms are due to expire on 31 December 2010. The sixteenth meeting of States parties will take place in New York with the aim of electing twelve members of the Committee, in view of the expiration of their term of office on 31 December 2010. States parties to the Convention are invited to nominate their candidates by 9 March 2010. Click here to read the general information on the meeting.
