Town Hall Meeting and other events

The Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Society for International Development is inviting you to join the Town Hall Meeting, August 9. The preliminary five-year strategic plan for the organization based on the feedback will be presented. 'We look forward to hearing from you, in person, as we move forward and formalize our goals for the upcoming years. Anyone is welcome to attend, both members and non-members.'

Upcoming events:

August 13th: Join SID-Washington and The Grameen Foundation for a presentation by the Global Poverty Project, 1.4 Billion Reasons. The Global Poverty Project's vision is a world without extreme poverty within a generation by increasing the number and effectiveness of people taking action to end extreme poverty. Based on leading research, the presentation clearly articulates the facts of extreme poverty and demonstrates that by making simple changes everyone can be a part of the solution.This presentation promises to be thought-provoking and inspiring.

August 22nd: SID-Washington & Washington Networking Group International Networking Reception. The WNG is a networking organization of professionals dedicated to helping SID-Washington members advance their business objectives by facilitating special networking events, innovative educational forums, and professional development opportunities.
